Selkirk Rotary presented a $1,500 cheque in support Interlake Special Olympics
The presentation by the Interlake Art Board regarding mural project proposed for the Manitoba Avenue side of Packers Fashion was well received and a motion was put forward afterwards (see below). Even though all members present we for the proposal, there weren't enough Rotarians present for quorum, so the motion was circulated by email all the membership. We'll follow-up with this again at our next meeting.
MOTION: Moved by Jean, seconded by Dave that the Rotary Club support in principal the proposal of the Interlake Art Board mural project on the south side of Packers' building. Our support would be on the condition that Rotary be the applicant for all grant applications.
