Last night, the Rotary Club of Selkirk Manitoba welcomed Rebecca Allan from Peguis Community Supports and Services. Rebecca spoke about the Selkirk Huddle program. Huddle is a safe space for all youth ages 12-29 offering free, trauma-informed, and culturally safe health services in a youth-friendly atmosphere (a one-stop shop). It was designed by youth, for youth, in a “what do you need approach,” with mental health services as a huge contributing factor. A $350 cheque was presented to the Huddle program to continue their invaluable work in our area!
