Over the years the Rotary Club of Selkirk has been involved in several International district projects. On August 21,1971 the results of the Makathela project were reported by District 320 of India. The project was made possible by the donation of approximately 5500 rupees ($775) by our district. As a result it was possible to irrigate some 50 acres of arable land. |
