FOOD SECURITY AT HOME AND AWAY......Aside from tending the Rotary Garden in Selkirk, this week saw the Selkirk members meet with the Rotary Club of Winnipeg and Hillcrest Rotary Club of South Africa to discuss an International Project into Food Security. Rotarians Brigette Turner and Rob Campbell presented the 1000 Survival Gardens of South Africa whose goal is to empower 1000 women and their families by helping them create food security and self-sufficiency both during and after the Covid-19 pandemic. The Rotary Club of Selkirk is making a donation for 4 Survival Garden Kits for a total of $1000.
