President Lee welcomed everyone to the meeting and introduced Tracy Curl from Nova House as our guest speaker. District Training took place last week. After an Executive Meeting the following donations from the Club were approved: Gordon Howard Senior Center Gala Banquet $200.00 City of Selkirk Canada Day Celebrations $500.00 Interlake Juried Art Show $200.00 Karthum Shriners $50.00 A request was received from Pawed Pals Animal Shelter which will be held and revisited after Lobsterfest 50/50 draw pot of $108.00 was NOT won. Lesli's ticket drawn, but she didn't draw the Ace of Spaces. Rhonda fined everyone for being so happy. Ruth reported that we received 1,669.00 from the town of Pinawa and 500.00 from Dexter and Jean Harvey Tracy Curl spoke on behalf of Nova House, a non profit women’s shelter in Selkirk.
