Our Guest speaker was Jorden Bighorn, Program Manager for Pathways to Education.  Their facility on Stella and Powers in Winnipeg enables 300 students to attend classes that they otherwise may not have the opportunity to attend. His passion was evident as he spoke about his students and staff. Many of his staff are graduates of the program, and he is very proud of their accomplishments.

The Passing of Wayne Claypool
The following announcement is produced from content of two emails sent by Peter Neufeldt.  Click here to go to an online obituary for Wayne Claypool

Dear Rotarian,

Perhaps you already know that our friend, colleague and Past District Governor, Wayne Claypool passed away on the morning of April 12th. However, I'm sending this notice to ensure that all Rotarians in our District are aware of the passing of our deeply committed Rotarian. It was Wayne's wish that he might die at home and this desire was fulfilled.

The funeral to celebrate Wayne's Life is planned for Saturday, April 28 at 1:30 pm at McClure United Church – 4025 Taylor Street E. in Saskatoon.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either PolioPlus or The Rotary Foundation in care of the Meewasin Rotary Club   www.meewasinrotary.com

Thank you for keeping Carol and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

Yours in Rotary,
DG Peter Neufeldt
